Teresa Castillo Obituary
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Jose Rivera and Carmen (Ramos) Rivera. Mrs. Castillo was a self-employed seamstress for many years before her retirement. She was a dedicated mother, an incredible cook, homemaker and shared with all those in need. She was an active member of the Taino Club of Providence.
She was the beloved mother of eleven, Olga I. Morales of Brooklyn, NY, Osvaldo Castillo, Jr. of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Mercedes Castillo of Providence, Juanita Evans of Moore, SC, Madeline Castillo of St. Petersburg, FL, Jose L. Castillo of Providence, Carlos A. Castillo of Providence, Teresa Warren of Wakefield, Carmen D. Castillo of Bellingham, MA, Ricardo R. Castillo of Pawtucket and Braulio Castillo of Providence. Mrs. Castillo was the loving grandmother of seventy-one and the great-grandmother of forty-nine. She was the sister of Pedro and Agapito Gonzalez both of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Her funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-9 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Avenue, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.

I know you are with me cuz I can feel your presence especially when I'm driving. I wish I could take back time so I can cook breakfast in your kitchen and make you the Bustelo coffee you loved so much. The kids are doing fine... They are healthy and tell me that they love me everyday. I'm still hanging on but so sad to feel so alone especially during the Holidays, when you gave birth to so many of us. Ma, I wish I had the ability to take you home with me again when you needed one of us to take you home. I'm sorry I couldn't. I just needed to tell you this cuz I can't help but remember the times I'd visit you and you'd tell me you wanted to go home. It broke my heart to leave you there everytime. sometimes I couldn't take the pain of leaving you so I stayed away, and for that I'm so very sorry . Mom, I feel so betrayed and alone.
