Doreen and family, Ed was one of the most kind, honest and witty person I've ever known. Both Ralph and I were taken aback by the news of his unfortunate accident. We pray for him, although I don't think he needs it! He is already where he deserved to be! With love and good memories of Ed.

Dear Doreen and Putnam Family,
I am so glad I had the pleasure of knowing Ed! He was truly a wonderful, kind and caring man (even my husky who usually shies away from men took to Ed). I will miss his warm smile and friendly waves. His passing is a tremendous loss and will be greatly felt in our neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,

Dear Doreen and family,
I cannot express enough what sad news this is. Ed was a unique man, so kind and loving and always so interesting to be with. I send you all the love and strength to hold on to your special memories with him and know how much he loved you and loved life. May God rest his soul and bring him peace. I can only wish courage and love for you over the next few days and those to come. Doreen, know that I am here for you whenever you need a friend.
My deepest sympathies

Doreen and Bethany!! I was extremely shocked to read about Ed's death. Only knew him for a short time, but loved being in his presence. Especially at the chili cook .. sitting right next to each other, competing for THE title.
Hugs to both of you......
So so, sorry!
