Jason Broomfield Obituary
40, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017. He was born in Providence, a son of Michael Broomfield and Lori (Silverstein) and David Dorsey.
He was the proud owner of Better Personal Training, LLC.
Jason loved making people smile. He was known for his sharp wit, big heart and love of his family, especially his daughter Gianna. He always made himself available for anyone in need.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Gianna; fiancé Leana Balasco; brother Eric Broomfield; sister Kyla Broomfield; sister in law Sherry Broomfield; loving nephew Mason and niece Jennie; and family and friends too numerous to name. He was the grandson of the late Myron and Honey Silverstein and Marshall and Alice Broomfield.
Memorial services will be held, Sunday, April 30th at 2PM at Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope St, Providence. Contributions in his memory may be made to the college fund for Gianna Del Monico, make checks payable to UBS Financial Services (Reference Gianna Del Monico), 500 Exchange St, Suite 1210, Providence, RI 02903. I just heard about Jason's passing. What a shame! I worked with him at Professional Fitness. I work in the Corporate Office in NC, so most of our relationship was over the phone, but I did meet him in person 2 or 3 times. He was always a nice, stand-up guy. He did a real good job for our Company. He will be missed for sure!!!

When Jason was a baby I would occasionally go to his home to take care of him (and at times Eric too) when his mom Lori would go out for a few hours.
Jason was a gentle and sweet little boy. I am sad and sorry that he has passed away.

We were all saddened to hear of Jason's passing. He was a very kind hearted man who cared deeply about people, especially those in need. I only knew him for a short time, but will never forget him. My nephew was his room mate in Providence. He took him under his wing and truly cared. Tried to help him in any way that he could. For this we are forever grateful. May you rest in eternal peace.

I had the opportunity to meet Jason a few times through my wife and our mutual friends and family. He immediately showed his friendly caring side to me and made me feel welcome. I was able to see that Jason was hilariously witty and knew right away why all the people around cared for him deeply.
