GALLIGAN, JOHN J., 48, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital.
He was the loving son of John and Irene (Boisvert) Galligan. John touched many lives with his ready smile and good humor. He was a skilled bowler having won numerous trophies and awards over the years as a member of the Trudeau Tigers and as a participant in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed frequenting classic car shows, traveling, movies, and spending time with his family. He worked at Electric Boat and the J. Arthur Trudeau Center.
Besides his parents, he leaves his brother, Michael, and his wife, Elisabeth, of Riverside, RI; his sister, Linda Joseph, and her husband, Mark, of Marshfield, MA; and two nephews, James and Dylan Joseph. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Clement Church, Long Street. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to J.
