EXETER — Patrick J. Bartoli, 63, of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He was born on Nov. 19, 1949, at Pittston Hospital, a son of the late Patrick A.and Josephine M. Razawich Bartoli.
He was a 1967 graduate of Wyoming Area School District and graduated from Wilkes-Barre Business College, receiving his certification in accounting.
He served for four years on Exeter Borough Council and as fire committee chairman for two of his four years.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, where he served as an altar boy and then as custodian for 20 years.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his grandparents, Luigi and Mary Bartoli, Wyoming, and Joseph and Mary Maslousky Razawich, Exeter; and his goddaughter, Melissa Messina, West Pittston.
Patrick leaves behind his son, Matthew and his wife, Susan Jester Bartoli, Exeter; his loving brother, Joseph Bartoli, Exeter; grandchildren, Patrick and Abigail; goddaughter, Toni-Dale Novick George, Dallas; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Funeral service was held Nov. 16 from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter. Interment was in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Schooley Street, Exeter.
