Willard Clyde (Will) Rinehimer

Willard (Will) Clyde Rinehimer, age 73, of Shavertown, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Askam, Will was the son of the late Irvin and Helen Miller Rinehimer. He was educated in Newport Township schools. Will worked at the former General Cigar Co. in Nanticoke and retired from Procter & Gamble Co. in Mehoopany. He was an avid fan of Dallas High School sports and Yankees baseball. Will enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Will was a member of Shavertown United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, of 51 years, the former Florence Oliver; son, Will Rinehimer Jr., and wife Lori, Bermuda; daughter, Kim Egleston, and husband Mike, Long Valley, N.J.; grandchildren, Nicholas and Jillian Rinehimer, Stephanie, Mackenzie and Jessica Egleston; brothers, Irvin (Sonny), Robert (Bob) and William (Bill) Rinehimer; sister, Jean Earl; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. The Rev. M. Lynn Snyder will officiate. Interment will be made in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shavertown United Methodist Church, 163 N. Pioneer Avenue, Shavertown, PA 18708.
