Lincoln E. Reed, 49, of Shippensburg, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in his home. He was born January 16, 1963 in Chambersburg, Franklin County. Lincoln was a son of Helen R. Dyarman Reed of Shippensburg and the late Glen H. Reed, Sr. Lincoln attended the Shippensburg Church of the Nazerene. He most recently worked for L.R. Four Roofing, Shiremans-town. Lincoln roofed for many of the local companies. He was a 1980 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School and enjoyed the outdoors, working on Chevy and GM trucks, and had a lifelong passion for completing his home. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Sally Jo Mentzer Reed, four sons, Ptolemy Eric Reed of Millsboro, DE, Nathan W. Reed of Scotland, David A. Reed of Fayetteville, and Ian R. Reed at home, three brothers, Glen H. Reed, Jr. of Shippensburg, Clinton T. Reed of Chambersburg, and Vincent J. Reed of Baltimore, MD, two sisters, Pandora R. Shimkanon and Lisa K. Crist both of Shippensburg. Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 6 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Melissa Mankamyer. There will be no viewing however a visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
