Joseph R. Bennett Joseph R. Bennett, 75, of Spring Run, died on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at home. Born on September, 26, 1938, in Baltimore County, Md., he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Marion Cumberland Bennett. A hard worker, Joe is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lorraine, whom he married on May 17, 1958. He is also survived by two daughters, Marilyn A. Carroll and husband Glenn of Middle River, Md., and Lisa J. Jones of Joppatown, Md.; four sons, Robert J. Bennett, of Middle River, Md., Frank J. Bennett, of Youngstown, N.Y., Dean J. Bennett of Mercersburg, and Glenn J. Bennett of Spring Run; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his Golden Retriever, Penny. Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amelia Coyner; two brothers, John J. and George G. Bennett; and one sister, Mary Wilbberger. Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, PA.
