Harold W. Shetter Harold W. Shetter, 72, a resident of the Shippensburg Health Care Center, entered Glory Wednesday, April 15, 2015, in the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born August 31, 1942, in Shippensburg. Harold was a son of the late Delbert L. and Katherine E. Gettel Shetter. Harold retired in 1995 from SKF Industries where he was a process operator. He was a member of the Mt. Rock Brethren in Christ Church, Shippensburg, and the Cumberland Valley Antique Engine and Machinery Association. He enjoyed going to public sales which inspired his sons to become auctioneers, showing his collection of John Deere tractors, camping, southern gospel music, buying and selling anything, raising beef cattle, farming, local scrap hauler, going to the cabin, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Harold's favorite question to everyone was "What's New". Harold is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol K. Dubbs Shetter; three children, Kelly A., Terry L. (wife Tiffiny), and Benjamin D. Shetter; three grandchildren, Kendall L., Braxton I. and Sterling W. Shetter, all of Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mt. Rock Brethren in Christ Church, with the Rev. Lloyd T. Zimmerman, the Rev. Richard Reed, and Mr. Dale Lehman officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Rock Cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Stehle Jr., Frank C.  
Frank C. Stehle, Jr. Frank C. Stehle, Jr., 85, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday morning, April 15, 2015, at his home. Born December 5, 1929, in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of the late Frank Stehle, Sr. and Zula Kunkle Stehle. Frank was a 1947 graduate of the Mechanicsburg High School and was employed as Bookeeper at the Art Sign Company in Chambersburg for forty years, retiring in 2000. He then worked part-time as a Tip Staffer at the Franklin County Courthouse. Frank was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, George Washington Lodge #143 F&AM, and B.P.O. Elks Lodge 600, where he was a Past Exalted Ruler and had served as Secretary. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Fehl Stehle, whom he married June 16, 1951; four children, Johanna M. Scott and husband Jack of Lewisberry, Mary Sue Brown of Summerville, SC, Karen L. Frey and husband Steve of Chambersburg, and Bryan F. Stehle of York; seven grandchildren, Brandon Brown and wife Esther of Shippensburg, Kevin Scott and wife Maddy of Harrisburg, Shaunda Moats and husband Shane of York Haven, Joshua Frey and wife Lacy of Chambersburg, Zachary Stehle of Dallastown, Kayla Frey of Chambersburg, and Lauren Stehle of Dallastown; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eleanor Lohry of Carlisle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Patrick R. Brown; four sisters; and one brother. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 W. Commerce St., Chambersburg, PA, with the Rev. Dr. Neal O. Hively officiating. Interment will be at Lincoln Cemetery. Members of George Washington Lodge #143 and B.P.O. Elks Lodge #600 will perform a service prior to the memorial service at the church on Saturday. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Stouffer, Beda S.  
Beda S. Stouffer Beda S. Stouffer, 86, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Chambersburg Hospital. Born on August 20, 1928 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Emma Lehman Shatzer. Beda spent her working years as a bookkeeper for the former Dice's Tire Shop in Chambersburg. She was active in Franklin County Farm Women, as well as volunteering for Toys For Tots and St. Thomas Rurutan. Beda was a member of King Street United Brethren Church and attended Cornerstone Church of Christ later in life as well. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Stouffer; a son, Brent O. Cosey and wife, Trish of Marion, PA; a daughter, Lisa C. Bontrager and husband, Rick of Greencastle; four stepchildren, Connie Lamborn and husband, Mike of Martinsburg, PA, Reed Stouffer of State College, PA, Andra Stouffer of Martinsburg, PA and Barry Stouffer of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Shatzer of Chambersburg and Blaine Shatzer of Middletown, Md.; and a sister, Lois June Fahnestock of Chambersburg. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack L. Cosey; a son, Alan "Ben" Cosey; four sisters; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 PM Friday, April 17, 2015 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Swartz, Frances G.  
Frances G. Swartz Frances G. Swartz, 91, of Shippensburg, died on the evening of Sunday, April 12, 2015, at the Shippensburg Health Care Center. She was born on October 2, 1923, in Allen, PA, a daughter of the late Lester and Mary Peiffer Gross. Frances was a 1941 graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, enlisting on February 11, 1944, and honorably discharged on July 18, 1946. Frances was retired as a Keypunch Operator at the Letterkenny Army Depot. She was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the Fort Morris A.A.R.P. #2525, and a life member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223. She is survived by one sister, Pearl Myers of Mechanicsburg; one brother, Lester "Butch" Gross of Etters; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. 'Had" Swartz; an infant daughter, Nadine Carol Swartz; one sister; and two brothers. Her graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on April 26, 2015, at the Zion Cemetery, Newburg. Pastor Jim Rogers will officiate. There will be no public viewing or visitation. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements. Shearer, Paul E.  
Paul E. Shearer Paul E. Shearer, 80, passed away April 12, 2015 at the Chambersburg Hospital. He left this earth peacefully to be with God after a two-year battle with Parkinson's and related illnesses. He was born November 24, 1934, in Richmond Furnace, PA to the late John N. and Phoebe (St. Clair) Shearer. He was married to Peggy A. Johnston Shearer on July 16, 1954. He was Peggy's husband and best friend for over 60 years. Paul was employed by V.T. Angle & Sons and then he was self-employed for over 40 years as an automotive reconditioning specialist. He was a member of the Chambersburg First Church of God. Besides his strong work ethic, Paul had a passion for baseball, softball, hunting and cars. His love for baseball started as a young boy and led to a tryout with the Washington Senators as a left-handed pitcher. He taught his sons and his grandsons the art of pitching. He played baseball for many local teams before transitioning to softball, playing well into his 60s. Paul's love of family led him to never miss any sporting events for his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Peggy, Paul is survived by, a daughter, Cathy A. wife of David M Puhl, Chambersburg, PA; two sons, Randall E. husband of Lori A. Shearer, Fayetteville, PA, Timothy J. Shearer and companion Toni Diffenderfer of Fayetteville, PA; and daughter-in-law, Linda P. Shearer of Chambersburg, PA; six grandchildren, Luke P. husband of Nicole Shearer of Fayetteville, PA, Lacey N. Shearer of Fayetteville, PA, Andrew M. husband of Megan Puhl of Seattle, WA, Micah D. Puhl of Chambersburg, PA, Timothy J. Shearer, Jr. of Chambersburg, PA, Thomas E. Shearer of Chambersburg, PA; one great-grandson, Jaxson Paul Shearer of Fayetteville, PA; and one sister, Betty Okeson, Ft. Wayne, IN. He was also survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and numorous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jessica H. Puhl. Paul's funeral services will be held at 12 noon with a one hour visitation prior to the service on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Chambersburg First Church of God, with Pastor Don Drury officiating. A visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment will be held at Norland Cemetery.
