Angle, Bennett Gearhart "Ben"  
Bennett G. Angle Bennett Gearhart "Ben" Angle, 67, of Welsh Run, PA went to be with his Lord on Christmas Eve, 2014, at his home. Ben had battled lung cancer for 17 months. Born May 18, 1947, at Maugansville, MD, he was the only son of the late Lester E. and Janet J. Gearhart Angle. He was a 1965 graduate of James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, and served for 2 years in Lancaster 1W at St. Joes Hospital. Ben owned and operated his own trucking business and later managed the family dairy farm, known as Barben Farms of Welsh Run. He was a member of Upton Church of the Brethren where he taught Sunday school. Ben was an avid train collector and a member of TCA. He enjoyed his Welsh Run community and was happiest when his home was full of his children and grandchildren. Surviving family include his wife, Barbara Jean Rohrer Angle, whom he married April 1970. Two daughters, Belinda & her husband Kurt Stewart of Edenville, PA, Bonita & husband Kervin Beachy of Narvon, PA, and Bradley & wife Bethany Angle of Welsh Run. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Angle. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Upton Church of the Brethren, 8490 Warm Spring Road, Greencastle, PA with the Upton Church of the Brethren Ministry and Pastor David Stahl officiating. Burial will be at Welsh Run Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Welsh Run. Viewing hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday December 29, 2014 at the Upton Church of the Brethren. Also a viewing from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are by Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg.
