DeWayne E. Negley

DeWayne Eugene Negley, 51, of Old Barnwell Rd., Windsor, S.C., died Saturday, March 16, 2013. A native of Ship-pensburg, DeWayne was born May 10, 1961, a son of Wesley Eugene and Vivian Carol Nehf Negley. He had made Windsor his home since 1994 and was a truck driver for Waste Management of Augusta/ Aiken for close to twenty years. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in New Ellenton, S.C. He will be remembered as a beloved son, wonderful husband, excellent father and an exemplary grandfather. In addition to his parents, DeWayne is survived by his wife, Mitze Kaye Jasmin Negley; two daughters, Shannon Marie Negley, (Jeremy Head) and Francis Isabella Negley, all of Windsor, S.C.; a son, Kristopher Negley, daughter-in-law Lauren Negley and a grandchild, Cyrus Eugene Negley all of Aiken, S.C.; two sisters, Lisa Negley Sherman and Rhonda Negley Richardson; and brother, Matthew Negley, all of Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home Chapel, East Pine Log Road, Aiken, S.C. Interment will follow in Historic Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held in Shippensburg at a later date.
