James R. Rosenberry

James R. Rosenberry, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, died in San Diego, CA, on December 31, 2012. He was born in Dry Run, PA, and was a graduate of Fannett-Metal High School. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Loel, and three sons: James W., Columbus, OH, Charles F., Newport Coast, CA, and Andrew A., San Diego, CA, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by his two sisters, Bonnie Miller, Concord, PA, and Judy Henderson, Shippensburg, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was drafted by the Washington Senators, playing one season of minor league baseball before enlisting in the Air Force. James was a U.S. Air Force veteran proudly serving during the Korean War. While stationed in the Far East, James was also a member of the All-Air Force baseball team, touring Japan. After over 8 years of military service, James embarked on a career in the pharmaceutical field, representing major drug companies, and later leading the transition for pharmacies on the east coast to full computerization. James was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. Interment will be in the Upper Path Valley Cemetery in June, 2013. Details will be provided later.
