Jeanne L. Baker

Jeanne L. (Brown) Baker, passed away on December 10, 2012, at the age of 69. She was born Monday, December 28, 1942, in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late William Blaine and Dorothy Jane (Wise) Brown. She attended Shippensburg Area High School and graduated in 1960. She was preceded in death in 1980, by her one and only son, Todd Stewart Baker, and her husband of 46 years, Rodney G. Baker who died in 2009. Jeanne had been active in the past, in both the VFW and American Legion auxiliaries. She previously worked at the former Hoffman Mills, in Shippensburg, and briefly at Giant Market in Shippensburg. She is survived by two brothers; Richard L. Brown and wife, Wanda Brown, and William D. Brown and wife, Grace, both of Shippensburg, and many nieces and nephews. Internment will be at Spring Hill cemetery, with her son, in a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations to the or the Better Days Animal League in her name would be appreciated.
