John R. Clever

John R. Clever John R. Clever, 30, of Chambersburg passed away on Saturday February 15, 2014 at home. He was born February 2, 1984 in Chambersburg, the son of Jerry W. and Liane (Sohns) Clever. John was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring, a 2002 graduate of the Chambersburg Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.S. in geoenvironmental studies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, especially his guitar and had a passion for collecting fossils and gemstones. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters: the Rev. Elizabeth (wife of Rev. James) Arter III, Mrs. Barbara (wife of A. Scott Harshman Jr.), a brother, David Clever, a niece, Addison and several aunts and uncles. There will be a service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring with the Rev. Mark A. Medina officiating. There will be a visitation held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, February 18, 2014 at the W. F. Sellers Funeral Home.
