Kenneth Max Gracey Kenneth Max Gracey, 88, of Blacks Mountain Road, Waterfall, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Menno Haven Nursing Home, Chambersburg. Born March 2, 1926, in Wells Twp., Fulton Co., he was a son of the late Herman S. and Goldie M. (Bivens) Gracey. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Kathlene L. (Brown) Gracey at their home; four children, Bonita and husband Ronald Suders of McConnellsburg, Sandra and husband Roger Strait of McConnellsburg, Barbara and husband Harold Lowery of Bellevue, Neb., and Kenneth Eric Gracey and wife Katherine of Mercersburg. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Michael Suders, Stacey Williams, Barbara Breaux, Lori Mellott, Jennifer Lowery, Kenneth A. Gracey, Darren Suders, Travis Gracey, Joshua Strait; and 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald R. Gracey of Waterfall; and a sister, Virginia Souder of Orrstown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Fix. Mr. Gracey served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg. His life-long passion was farming. He was an amazing man who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed his family, camping, and the outdoors. He was an active member of the Forbes Road Lions Club. He will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the M. R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt St., Hustontown, PA, with Pastor Betty Secrest officiating. Interment will be made at Center Cemetery, RD, Waterfall, PA, with military honors accorded by the Fulton Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
