Sujo McAfee

Sujo McAfee Sujo McAfee, 80, of Centre Hall, loving and wonderful mother of Philip McAfee, Kimberly Barnett and Gerald E. McAfee, Jr., went home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 27, 2013. She was born August 14, 1933 in Dowdy, Arkansas, the daughter of the late William T. and Hazel I. Long Phillips. Sujo retired from Stanley Corporation in Chambersburg, and after her retirement she worked in housekeeping at the Super 8 Motel in State College. She raised her family in Mercersburg and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an Atlanta Braves Fan and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Barnett of Centre Hall; a son, Philip McAfee of Unionville; two brothers, Bernie Gene Phillips and Vernon Max Phillips; three sisters, Patricia Knight, Geraldine Kaden and Lucy Van Bazile; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerald E. McAfee, Jr.; two brothers, Grisham Phillips and Robert W. Phillips; and one sister, Ida Georgiani West.
