Debra Ann Herlihy (Debi), 60 of Swedesboro, New Jersey, passed away December 28, 2013 at home. She was born June 30, 1952 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, the daughter of Roy E. (deceased) and Evelyn (Majewski) Spinney. She was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring. Debi graduated from Dover Highschool, Dover NH in 1970 and 1974 from Juniata College with a BS degree. She was employed Custom Building Products, Swedesboro, NJ as a Quality Assurance Technician. Debi enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and her three cats: Punky, Bandit and Boots. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Spinney, a former resident of Chambersburg for forty years. One sister: Ronda Spinney and husband Blake Shavers, Cleburne, Tx.; two aunts: Aunt Shirley and Uncle James Spinney, Eastport, ME; Aunt Ann Spinney, Perry, ME and several cousins. In addition to her father, her husband,James J. Herlihy, of Swedesboro, NJ (2005) to whom she was married in 1981, preceded her in death; along with her daughter, Angela C. Herlihy, also of Swedesboro, (2001, aged19); and paternal grandparents, Uncle Edward and Aunt Annette Loud, MA, Uncle George and Aunt Frances Caler, ME and Uncle John Spinney, Perry, ME. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday January 4, 2013 at Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring Chapel with the Rev. Mark A. Medina and Rev. Dr. William H. Harterofficiating. Burial will be in the Falling Spring graveyard. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
