Dylan Michael Guyer, 23, of Waynesboro, formerly of Shippensburg, died Sunday, October 7, 2012. He was born July 29, 1989, in Chambersburg, Franklin County. Dylan was a son of Dale R. Guyer and his wife Darla of Shippensburg and Misty K. Frank Banzhoff and her husband James of Waynesboro. Dylan worked at Gold's Gym in Hagerstown. He attended Shippensburg Area Senior High School and was part of the class 2007. Dylan enjoyed older country music and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Dylan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Rodney E. Frank. In addition to his parents he is survived by one sister, Brelyn R. Guyer of Chambersburg; two brothers, Drew R. and Dane R. Guyer, both of Shippensburg; paternal grandparents, Robert and Doris Guyer of Chambersburg; and his maternal grandmother, Zora E. Frank of Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Lutheran Church, 34 E. Orange St., Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Donald L. Conley. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., 112 W. King St., Shippensburg. There will not be a viewing the day of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Pit Bulls and Parolees, c/o Villalobos Rescue Center, P.O. Box 771127, New Orleans, LA 70177.
