Earl H. Ford, 87, of Three Springs RD, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at the Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia. He was married to Inez E. (Fleck) Ford on June 29, 1946. Born September 5, 1925, in Wood, he was the son of the late Thomas and Meta (Keith) Ford. A Veteran of WWII, Earl proudly served with the U.S. Navy, European Theatre. He went on to retire from LSSA with Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, where he worked for over 30 years. Earl, along with Inez, were members of the First Baptist Church of Three Springs. He enjoyed visiting family, rarely missed a family reunion and loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife of over 66 years, he will be lovingly missed by his three children, Jackie Ford, husband of Jeannie, of Etters; Joel Ford, husband of Linda, of Three Springs; Jerry Ford, husband of Joan, of Three Springs; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Betty St. Clair, wife of Ken, of Mesa, Ariz.; and a brother, Jerald "Jay" Ford, husband of Joyce, of Saltillo. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Deforest, Dalbert, Oliver, Ellis and Jim Ford and two sisters, Grace Domeier and Althea Hoffman. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Three Springs, 302 W. Hudson St., Three Springs, PA on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Ford and the Rev. Gary Ford officiating. Interment will be in the Saltillo Cemetery.
