Edward M. Henicle, 71, of Amsterdam Rd. Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012, at his home. Born August 8, 1941, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Chester H. and Margaret (McClenaghan) Henicle. He was a graduate of Waynesboro High School class of 1959. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Edward was employed by West Penn Power and was a self employed auctioneer for 32 years. He loved colonial architecture, stone masonry and antique cars. He was an avid follower and supporter of local area sports. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Mary (Moore) Henicle, whom he married November 5, 1941; three sons, Edward Henicle and wife, Rhonda of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Chester Henicle and wife, Marie of Bloomsburg; and Benjamin Henicle and wife, Jennifer of Downingtown; one brother, George Henicle of Hagerstown, Md.; and four grandchildren, Nathan Henicle, Maggie Henicle, Quinn Henicle and Maximus Henicle. He was preceded in death by one sister, Harriett Henicle. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Waynesboro.
