Janet Horn Obituary

Janet G. Horn, 83, of Shippensburg, died Friday, January 29, 2010 at her residence.
Born July 4, 1926 in Newville, she was a daughter of the late Norman A. Sr. and Matilda K. Anderson Souders.
Janet was a member of the Cumberland County Farm Womens Group # 3, she was a wonderful woman who loved birds, enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Surviving is a son; Glen R. Horn, Jr., and wife Florence of Chambersburg, three daughters; Glenda J. Branthafer and husband Donald of Upper Strasburg, Janette L. Washington of Carlisle and Patsy A. Martin and husband Robert of Chambersburg, two brothers; Harold and Glen Souders, four sisters; Frances Goshorn, Donna Brenizer, Edna Beidel and Lynette Myers, 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many other friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glen R. Horn, Sr., who died December 6, 2009 and three brothers Harry, Earl and Norman A. Souders, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Robert W Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Hi, KIDS I loved Janet very much,worked with her for yrs,she was a very nice and wonderful person,I had wanted to come to viewing, but sorry i cant ,my car gave out today, im so sorry she has been on my mind lately and had wanted to come see her,maybe she was thinking of me too,May the LORD be with you all at this time,' I KNOW SHE IS LOOKING DOWN ON US ALL' OLIVE MARTIN
