Judith A. Hoffman Judith A. Hoffman, 73, of Chambersburg, passed away February 24, 2014, at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 24, 1940, in Hazelton to Nelson and Ruth (Snyder) Woodring. She was married to Donald Hoffman on Sept. 5, 1959. Judith was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fayetteville. She had been a homemaker. She had graduated from Hazelton High School. She was a loving wife and mother, always putting her family and friends' needs before her own. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, baking, canning, raising dogs and cruising. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and going to their cabin in the mountains. Judith is survived by her husband, Donald L. Hoffman; their three children, Donald K. (husband of Selena L.) Hoffman of Chambersburg, Jeffrey A. (husband of Melissa) Hoffman of Chambersburg, and Timothy S. Hoffman of Chambersburg. Judith has three grandchildren, Seth A. Hoffman, Kylee Hoffman and Zachary Hoffman; and one great-grandson, Seth A. Hoffman, Jr. She is survived by a sister, Joyce A. DeAngelo of Hazelton; and a brother, John R. Hildebrand of Hazelton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David L. Hildebrand. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., with the Rev. Eloise Shanley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, will be handling the arrangements.
