Kayla Marie Conner, 28, formerly of Chambers-burg, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013, at her mother's house in Newport News, Va. She was born in Chambersburg, on April 22, 1984. She is survived by her father, Robert J Conner Jr. and his wife Deborah, of Chambersburg, and her mother, Susan I. Conner and her boyfriend, Mark Hendrick, of Newport News, Va.; her sister, Bobbie Sue Conner and her boyfriend Chris Keilholtz of Thurmont, Md., her sister Casey Baer and husband Robert Baer III of Chambersburg; brother, Shain Conner and wife Anya of Gettysburg; her paternal grandparents, Robert J Conner Sr and wife Shirley, of Chambersburg; and her maternal grandmother, Anna Mae Luther of Thurmont, Md.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. For a time she worked for Goodwill Services at Letterkenny Army Depot. She graduated from Matthews High School, Va., in 2001. Her hobbies were swimming and biking. She cherished spending time her family, especially her nieces and nephews. A memorial service is being held at World Harvest Outreach, 1090 Wayne Ave, Chambers-burg, at 1 p.m., February 2, 2013.
