Luella R. Small Our beloved Luella R.("Honey") Small, age 92, of Chambersburg, passed away April 7, 2014 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born August 16, 1921 in Wood, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Myrtle (Nonemaker) Roher. Her beloved husband of seventy-two years, Donald H. Small died in December of 2011. Luella, Donald and their son, Brian owned and operated A-1 Rent All for 41 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Chambersburg. She graduated from Chambersburg High School, Class of 1939. She was a life member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1599. Honey is survived by two grandchildren: Brett (husband of Becky) Constable of Athens, Alabama and Shannon G. (fiance of Bryan Dalzell) of Baltimore, Maryland, a great-grandson, Tucker M. Constable of Athens, Alabama, a daughter-in-law, Sandra G. Small of Baltimore, Maryland, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved companions, Satch and Greivis. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two children: Judith A. Constable and Brian L. Small, two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be sent to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005, The , 3544 North Progress Ave., Suite 101, Harrisburg, PA 17110, or to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA will be handling the arrangements.
