Marian G. Hepfer, a resident of Penn Hall Nursing Center died February 1, 2013. She was 94. Born in Marion, PA, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Naomi Wentling Hege. She was a 1936 graduate of Chambersburg High School. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of Heidelberg Church, Marion. She was also a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. Her husband, Samuel E. Hepfer, Sr. died August 1, 1990. Surviving are two sons: Terry L. Hepfer (friend Dot) of Chambersburg and Samuel E. Hepfer, Jr. (wife Paula) of Chambersburg, a granddaughter, Debbie Weyant (husband Jack), two grandsons, Eric Hepfer (wife Kristy), and Christopher Hepfer (wife Emily), a great granddaughter Betsy Friese and three great grandsons: Noah Hepfer, Cayden Hepfer and Grayson Hepfer and nephew Robert Arnold, Jr. A sister, Pearl E. Arnold, preceded her in death. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2 p.m. at the Penn Hall Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Dianne B. Salter will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumberland Valley School of Music. Arrangements are by the William F Sellers Funeral Home, Inc.
