Washabaugh On Sunday, November 18, 2012, Mary Alice Washabaugh (Wigfield) passed away peacefully at the age of 77 in Palm Bay, Fla., with her loving family by her side. Born in Everett, on April 16, 1935, she resided in Palm Bay, Fla., and Potomac, Md., most of her life. She was the daughter of Otis and Maude Wigfield of Everett. A graduate of Thompson Business College in York, she enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, interior decorating, collecting antiques, traveling, and the beach. She worked as a purchasing agent at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald E. Washabaugh, and three children, Lynne Stanker and husband Jim of Frederick, Md., Lori Dickson and husband Jim of Frederick, Md., and Don Washabaugh, Jr. of Palm Bay, Fla. She is survived by seven grandchildren, David Stanker, Jessica Stanker, Holly Stanker, Jennifer Dickson, Jimmy Dickson, Kayla Washabugh and Nicholas Washabaugh; and a great-grandaughter, Celia Williams. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 22, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Frederick, Md. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
