Perry D. Miller Mr. Perry D. Miller, 64, a resident of NMS Healthcare, Hagerstown, MD and formerly of 64 West Main Street, Waynesboro, PA, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 in the nursing home. Born November 20, 1948 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Benjamin H., Jr. and Lois I. (McBride) Miller. Mr. Miller was a graduate of Waynesboro High School with the Class of 1966. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1970. For his service, he was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. Following his discharge, Mr. Miller was employed at Par Gas, Hagerstown, for 12 years and later at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed kayaking. Mr. Miller is survived by one sister, Linda M. Spurlock of Waynesboro; two brothers, Randolph L. Miller of Frederick, MD and Phillip E. Miller of Greensburg, PA; two nieces; one nephew; one great-nephew; and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, H. Louise Miller.
