Harold L. Rotz Harold L. Rotz, age 79, passed away February 19, 2014 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born December 27, 1934 in Chambersburg, PA to Clarence D. and Mary S. (Clippinger) Rotz. He was married to Frances Crider Rotz on May 12, 1956. Harold retired from McCleary Oil Company after 32 years of service as a bookkeeper. He served as a volunteer at Menno Haven and Penn Hall in the computer room and gift shop for thirteen years. He was the creator and webmaster of Harold's Christian Webpage and Seniors and Family Help Spot at www.familyhelpspot.com. Harold is survived by his wife, Frances, and their three children: Glenda K. (wife of Ric) Schroedel of Chesapeake, VA; Nelson L. Rotz of Chambersburg, and Dena M. Witter-Bigler of Shippensburg. Harold has four grandchildren: Darlene (Mike) Timmons, Melissa (Scott) Park, Kevin (Rachel) Rotz and Derek Witter (fiance Shaina Myers). He has five great-grandchildren: Mason, Taylor and Brooke Timmons; and Elijah and Kendall Park. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Rotz; a grandson Douglas Witter, and a great-grandson, Caleb Park. Harold is also survived by two brothers, Elwood (Donna) Rotz of Carlisle and Dwight (Annabeth) Rotz of York Springs; five sisters, Carolyn, Margaret (Howard) Burkholder, Goldie (Dale) Musser, Evelyn (Lowell) Peckman, all of Chambersburg and Rosalyn Beam of Shippensburg. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Camp Joy-El, 3741 Joy-El Drive Greencastle PA 17225. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA will be handling the arrangements.
