Gary L. Morrow Gary L. Morrow, 68, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully May 1, 2014, at home with his loving wife, Betty, by his side. Gary was born June 7, 1945, in Canton, Ohio to Leonard and Hilda (McKarns) Morrow. He married Betty Goodling Morrow on Sept. 13, 1991. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army, being deployed to Vietnam where he served his country honorably. Gary had a passion for hunting and also enjoyed gardening, cutting firewood, and just being in the outdoors with his two four-legged sons, Moose and Ruger, his chocolate labs. Gary also enjoyed restoring antique furniture, equipment, tools and toys. He was last employed by Lowe's of Chambersburg. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Betty Goodling Morrow; his two sons, Michael and Matthew Morrow of Ohio; his three step-sons, Jeff Morrow of Ohio, Adam (husband of Christina) Gutshall of Shippensburg, and Alan Gutshall of Shippensburg. "Pappy" is survived by his six grandchildren, Caden, Marshall, Ava, Emmett, Hailey, and Olivia of Shippensburg. He has two sisters, Linda (wife of Ron) Decker of Arkansas, Marsha Campbell of Ohio; and a brother, Mark (husband of Jane) Morrow of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Hilda Morrow. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at South Mountain Bible Church, with Pastor Bill Gray officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 till 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Light refreshments will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be sent to Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to the Grove Cancer Center, 755 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, will be handling the arrangements.
