Earl D. Simms Earl D. Simms, age 83, of Chambersburg, passed away June 12, 2014 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born September 16, 1930 in Baltimore, MD to Frank and Thelma Atkins Simms. He was married to Dorothy (Rohrabaugh) Simms on Sept. 14, 1991. Earl was retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, where he had been a systems analyst. Previously he had worked at the Sacramento Army Depot. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. During the Korean Conflict he served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rohrabaugh Simms, his two daughters: Sandy and Stacey Simms of California, three step-sons, Jeffrey K. (husband of Cindi) Renshaw of Rome, GA, Douglas A. (husband of Michelle) Renshaw of Fayetteville, PA and Bradley L. (husband of Joanne) Renshaw of Sylvester, GA. He also is survived by a brother, Raymond Simms of Baltimore, MD. Earl has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeannette Simms, a brother, Glenn Simms and a grandson. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA will be handling the arrangements.
