Cora Jane Adams Cora Jane Adams, 90, of Shippensburg, died Saturday, July 12, 2014, in the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville. She was born September 23, 1923, in Shippensburg. Cora was a daughter of the late John William and Blanche Nettie Russell Adams. She was also preceded in death by her companion of 58 years, Floyd Orndorff; a son, Richard Maynard Orndorff; a daughter, Peggy Jane Mozingo; four sisters; and three brothers. She retired in 1983 from the Beistle Company with over 34 years of service. Cora was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223, and the South Mountain Brethren in Christ Church, both in Shippensburg. She sold Avon for over 30 years. Cora loved to cook and most of all spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Lea Hanna of Shippensburg, and Bonnie Faye Provost and her husband Dan of New Iberia, LA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; seven nieces; and six nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. David A. Erisman. Burial will be in the Cleversburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
