Tannya J. Hartman Mrs. Tannya J. (Stine) Hartman, 67, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at her home, after an extended illness. Born June 16, 1947 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence C. and June (Downin) Stine. She graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1965, and went on to earn an Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science from the Shenango Valley School of Business, Sharon, PA She and her husband, Edgar C. Hartman, Jr., celebrated 20 years of marriage on their anniversary, November 13, 2013. They were married in Heidelburg United Church of Christ, Marion, PA, in 1993. Most recently, Tannya was employed as manager of the Antietam Moose Club #2435, in Funkstown, MD, for 5 years. Tannya was a loving, compassionate and giving, wife and mother. She was an avid reader, and was a skilled bargain hunter at yard sales. She loved animals and most especially enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Krista J. Walck, Chambersburg and Tara M. Wetherell, Taneytown, MD; two step-daughters: Stacy Keith, Mercersburg, PA and Jennifer Hartman, Crystal Springs, PA; one granddaughter, Calla Wetherell and one grandson, Samuel Dijak, both of Taneytown; two step grandsons: Trey Keith, Tyson Keith and Trevor Keith; one step granddaughter: Aleigha Hartman; one step great-grandson; several nieces and nephews, with her niece, Dena (Stine) Wiles, being especially close to her. A Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. Greencastle, with Rev. David G. Rawley officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, July 23, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday in the funeral home.
