Maxine B. Dean Maxine B. Dean, 87, of Roxbury, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center. Born Monday, July 26, 1926 in Mapleton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Myrtle A. Kelly Hardy. Maxine was member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Church, Chambersburg, she loved to socialize, buy and sell antiques and enjoyed auctions and flea markets. Surviving are two sons, Darrell Dean and his wife Ann of Newville, Steve Kilgore of Greencastle, one daughter, Deneen Dean of Orrstown, one brother Blain Hardy of Spring Run, one sister Violet Wertz of McVeytown, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Dean who died in October of 1982, one daughter, Vickie Mitchell, one granddaughter, Alisha Overcash, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be private.
