Susette L. Zimmerman Susette L. Zimmerman, 63, of Fayetteville, PA, passed into Christ's glory on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Susette was born on September 7, 1950, in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of Charles C. and Mary E. (Hess) Hoover. She was the devoted wife of Gary "Smoke" Zimmerman to whom she was happily married for 42 years. Smoke preceded her in death in May 2011, also at age 63. In her own words, her family was her pride and joy, and she relished her role as a mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, among others. Susette enjoyed all types of flowers, and her entire house was engulfed in floral gardens of both annual and perennial varieties. She savored baking, loved cooking, and appreciated being outdoors, often taking walks with both family and friends alike. Susette thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the Word with her women's Bible study who served as an amazing support group for her. She was a longtime attendee of Falling Spring Presbyterian Church, as well as Otterbein United Methodist Church. Susette volunteered in dozens of capacities including Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, PTA, and soccer booster club. After working various jobs in the service industry, Susette found her niche as the co-owner of EZ Choice Wireless, a business she co-founded with her son, Eric. For 15 years, she enjoyed helping customers and guiding the multiple location business to great success until February 2013. She is survived by her mother, Mary E. Hoover; her two sons, Travis L. Zimmerman and wife Suzanne of Hershey, and Eric L. Zimmerman and wife Kathleen of Mechanicsburg; and her seven beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Holden, Koen, Beck, Treyton, Grantham, and Braden Zimmerman. Susette's celebration service will be held at CrossPoint United Methodist Church at 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112 on Saturday, August 9th beginning at 10 a.m. Online condolences can be shared at Susette desired that memorial contributions please be directed to Speak My Word Ministries at either contribute or P.O.
