Rose A. Wilson Rose A. Wilson, age 70, of St. Thomas, passed away August 1, 2014 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born August 28, 1943 in Ft. Loudon, PA to James and Gladys (Hill) Mellott. She was the wife of Elwood L. Seville. Earlier in her life she had worked at the American Legion in Ft. Loudon. For the past twenty-five years she had been a homemaker. Rose is survived by her husband, Elwood and their three children: Karen Snyder of Shade Gap, James Schultz of Chambersburg and Angela Wilson of Chambersburg. She has six grandchildren: Kevin Schultz of Chambersburg, Jason Snyder of Shade Gap, Justin Snyder of Shade Gap, Katelyn Snyder of Shade Gap, Joshua Roberts of Chambersburg and Colby Bartlett of Chambersburg. She is also survived by five sisters: Ruth Johns of Chambersburg, Joan Coldsmith of Chambersburg, June Dearhart of Chambersburg, Shirley Mellott of Ft. Loudon, Monica Dysinger of Shippensburg and a brother, Jack Mellott of Ft. Loudon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters: Louise Nelling and Nancy Ray and two brothers: James R. Mellott and Charles R. Mellott. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 8, 2014 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., St. Thomas with Rev. Ken Boone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Stenger Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 6492 L.W.W., St. Thomas, PA will be handling the arrangements.
