Barb always had a smile on her face. She was fun & kind.
Her memory lives on as I have one of her flower paintings, and her lambs on my tree at Christmas. She is at peace.

Mrs Peshkin, my arts teacher in middle and high school and my all round favorite. I still have many of the projects completed in her classes. Fiber arts, drawing, ceramics. I spent every free period I could in her rooms and loved art club. She was the only teacher whom I kept in touch with after graduating. I would sneak in the doors by the kitchen loading docks until the school finally locked them down. After my military service, I was happy to be able to get back in touch via Facebook. She will surely be missed by the many people who's lives she has touched. Rest in peace dear friend.

She was the most amazing, sweet, fun teacher I had ever had. The world is now dimmer without her .

Ceramics class. Sophomore year. 1987. 2nd period. Will never forget you Mrs. Peshkin. We had a good time, despite me never quite getting the potter's wheel project right. I can still remember her urging us to "pay attention to detail." Farewell, I know you made a great, positive affect on this world.

My thoughts to all of the family. I grew up with Barb hanging out at my parents house. She always had a smile on her face and was such a kind person. I still remember the night she told us that she was marrying Michael. Barb was ageless and a wonderful spirit. She was so artistic. She is always part of our Christmas as we adorn our tree with her sheep and marvel how they were handmade. She is now onto her next adventure and I am sure she will always be watching over her family.

Mrs. Peshkin always made me feel welcome and gave me a place to belong while surviving my own tragedy during high school; she introduced me to the world of the SCA. She was encouraging, always smiling. I knew that when no one else seemed to understand, I could turn to her and feel comfortable. I'll miss her terribly.
