Charles Shotts Obituary

Charles R. Shotts, 84, of Waterfall, PA died Thursday, December 24th, 2009 at his residence.
Charles was born in Laidig, PA on February 28, 1925, the son of the late Harry E. and Blanche Carrie (Schooley) Shotts. He was the husband of Grace W. (Barnett) Shotts whom he married on October 30, 1948.
He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, PA, the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in WW II and was a dairy farmer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by Sons Nelson E. Shotts of Ft. Loudon, PA, Warren A. Shotts of Waterfall, PA, Daughter Doris A. Ritchey of Waterfall, PA, Sister Grace Heefner of Hustontown, PA, Brother Ralph Shotts of McConnellsburg, PA, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by infant son Ronald Shotts, brothers George and Paul Shotts.
Religious Service at Fairview United Methodist Church, Harrisonville, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 29th, 2009 with Pastor Bill Kuhn officiating.
Interment at Fairview United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
There will be visitation on Monday, December 28th, 2009 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., Harrisonville, PA. There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Tuesday at the church .
Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
