Mabel H. Dymond, 100, of Fayetteville, died on May 5, 2012. Born March 20, 1912 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Emma Jane Harrison. She was an active member of Calvary U.M. Church, with a desire to help everyone. Mabel was a selfless person, wonderful wife, mother and friend, welcoming all who graced her doorstep and loved by all. She lived life well, gardening, homemaking, quilting and cooking. She also worked at F&M Bank, Letterkenny, and kept the books for the family business. She is survived by her children: John (Nancy) Dymond: Jane (Bill) Truitt, Sue (Scott) Zacharias; nine grandchildren: John and Matthew Dymond, Rebecca Allison, Tracy Taylor, David Dymond, Michael and Caryn Truitt, Robert & Andrew Zacharias; a sister: Kathryn Cook and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. L. Dymond Sr., a son L.L. (Sonny) Dymond Jr., a granddaughter, Dianna Truitt, three brothers: Paul, Harold and Robert Harrison and a sister: Janet Hege. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Sellers F. H. with Rev. DeShong officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Sellers.
