Shirley Ann Daniels, age 70, of McConnellsburg, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 2, 1942 in Fort Loudon, the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Johnson) Zeis. She was married to the late Daune R. Daniels on October 12, 1962. Shirley is survived by one son, Ty R. (Husband of Lisa) Daniels of McConnellsburg; two daughters, Sherry (wife of John) Bain of Needmore, and Joanna (wife of Rob) Sain of McConnellsburg; six grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Kaitlin, Krista, Isaac and Mason; and one great-grandson, Zachary. She is also survived by three sisters, Annabelle Hornbaker of Chambersburg, Betty Helman of Chambersburg, and Mary Lou Kriner of Fort Loudon; and two brothers, Albert "Gene" Zeis of Chambersburg, and William "Bill" Zeis of Fort Loudon. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy and Viola; and three brothers, Jacob, Earl and Robert. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 322 N. Second St., McConnellsburg. There will be an evening of visitation from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday (today), at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery with her nephew, the Pastor Richard Egolf officiating.
