Patricia J. Small Mrs. Patricia J. (Moritz) Small, 78, of 166 Bradford Spring Court, Waynesboro, died unexpectedly Monday evening, February 10, 2014 in the emergency room of the Waynesboro Hospital. Born July 19, 1935 in Orrtanna, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl H. and Bertha C. (Shindledecker) Moritz. Mrs. Small graduated from Gettysburg High School with the class of 1953. She and her husband, the late Glenn N. Small, were married on February 22, 1957 in Hagerstown, MD. She moved to her present residence in 2009. Mr. Small died on May 30, 2007. Mrs. Small worked at the Waynesboro Telephone Company for nine years, the Waynesboro Knitting Mill for two years, and later Regency Thermographers, Waynesboro, for 24 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was an avid country music fan. She is survived by three sons, Michael G. Small and Gregory A. Small, both of Waynesboro and Jeffrey L. Small of Chambersburg; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucy Broughton of Orrtanna and Linda Bumgardner of Taneytown, MD; one brother, Gary Moritz of Gettysburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary E. Stallsmith and Janet Fiscel; and one brother, Earl Moritz, Jr. Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with the Rev. Richard A. Seaks offiicating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
