Kenneth C. Jones, Sr. Kenneth Carl Jones, Sr., 67, of Duffield Road, Chambersburg, PA, died at 11:53 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. Born September 17, 1946 at Shade Gap, PA, he was a son of the late Jason & Rosie (Miller) Jones. He was married to the former Helen A. Mazzie on September 18, 1995. Mrs. Jones survives at their home. Also surviving are eight children, Kenneth C. Jones, Jr. of Waynesboro, PA, Vonda Lea Clipp and her husband Curtis of Berkeley Springs, WV, Deb Trutt and her husband Dan of Lewisberry, PA, Mark Rowles and his wife Danielle of Fayetteville, PA, David Campbell of Fayetteville, PA, Barbara Seeger and her husband Jason of Lewisberry, PA, Jason Jones and his wife Shannon of Halifax, PA and Joshua Jones of Fayetteville, PA, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two siblings, Richard Jones of Mercersburg, PA and Vivian Gibble of Shade Gap, PA. One sister, Shirley Campbell, preceded in death. Mr. Jones attended Mountain Top Ministries, Chambersburg, PA. An avid caver, he belonged to the Central Caving Club, York Grotto, Franklin Co. Grotto, Huntingdon Co. Grotto and the National Speleological Society. He was also very active in conservative politics in his community. He retired from Keebler, Inc. after 32 years service as a sales representative. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Marines. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Salem Cemetery, RD, Blairs Mills, PA.
