Thomas Shields Obituary
Tom was born on Oct. 14, 1967, in Hastings, a son of David L. Shields of Rossiter and the late Marion "Lori" (White) Shields.
Tom was a union laborer for many years, working many construction sites.
He loved spending time at deer camp, hunting and fishing and having a good time with his family and friends. He absolutely loved dining out and eating lobster with his friends.
In addition to his father, David, Thomas is survived by his stepson, Michael Shelton of Georgia, and his beloved step-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Lee Shields of Morgantown, West Virginia; one sister; Theresa Kensel and husband Joseph of North Collins, New York, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at the funeral home, with Lieutenants Mr. & Mrs. Carter officiating.

I saw your face and kissed your lips for the last time 1 and a half years ago today. My heart is aching still and will never heal I know this....I feel it. I love and miss you so much my dearest husband Tommy. Every day without you, I feel so much pain in my heart.
