Annette Espino Obituary
Annette Louise Espino

It is with great sadness that the family of Annette Louise Espino, age 61, of San Pedro, California announces her passing on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Little Company of Mary Hospital Torrance, California after a brief illness.

Annette was born June 29, 1956 to Francisco Espino Jr. and Rosemary (Rios) Luera at Fort MacArthur - San Pedro, California, the oldest of 4 children. She enjoyed playing softball and bowling and was active in tournaments in her early years. She graduated from Carson High School in 1975 and attended Harbor College in Wilmington, California.

She was a coffee aficionado, a huge Beatles and Paul McCartney fan, and an even bigger Lucille Ball fan – oh how she loved Lucy!

Annette was a hardworking and caring individual that always sought to better the lives of her family. She was respected and admired by her coworkers for her outstanding work ethic. She never missed work or was ever late - you could always count on Annette to be there.

When you think of Annette, you remember her as being fiercely protective of her daughter and grandchildren. She was enormously proud of them and their many accomplishments. At times she was their harshest critic and other times, their biggest fan. She believed that in life, nothing worth having comes easy.

Annette will be remembered with love by her daughter Sinfie Pena, her grandchildren Kyla Foreman and Nathaniel Irby, her father Francisco Espino Jr., sisters Debra Carreon (Michael), Jane Espino (Randy), numerous nephews, extended family and dear friends. Her mother preceded Annette in death.

A private burial at sea will be held. A mass will be held in her honor on June 29, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro, CA. Please sign the guest book, www.dailybreeze.com/obits.
