6/24/1938 - 11/20/2018 Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, November 20, 2018 in San Pedro. She was born June 24, 1938 in San Pedro. She was a graduate of San Pedro High School, Summer class of 1956. She was an alumnus of Long Beach State College and received her Master's Degree in Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She taught Physical Education and Dance at Colegio Villa Maria in Lima, Peru, San Pedro High School, Los Angeles Trade Tech College, and Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, California. She was a Lecturer in Physical Education, Dance, and Teacher Training at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Antoinette retired after 50 years teaching, mentoring, and inspiring her students. Antoinette was preceded in death by her beloved parents Vincent and Anna Marich; her brother Vincent Marich, Jr.; and her Uncle Boris (Antoinette) Roje and Aunt Olga Marinkovich, both raised by Antoinette's parents in San Pedro. Antoinette was the most beloved sister of Norma Marich and Winifred (Joseph) Blatchford; and adored aunt of Andrea, Nicholas (Taryn), and Antonia Blatchford, and honorary nephew Anwar (Nanea) McQueen. Survivors include her first cousins Vincent Marinkovich, Ronald (Leah) Marinkovich, Antoinette (Michael) Lung; Adrienne Zmija of Phoeniz, AZ; Vanja Fabrio and Dasa Maric of Split, Croatia. Also surviving are many beloved young cousins and godchildren. A funeral service will be held at 9am on Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Green Hills Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
