Clara Veronica (Gall) Collins Obituary
August 29, 1923 - March 19, 2018
Clara was born the 14th of 16 children to Andrew and Anne Gall in Buckman Minnesota. Following graduation from high school, she moved to California and soon found herself building bombers in Santa Monica for Douglas Aircraft as part of the war effort. Following the war, Clara met and married Ken Collins. The couple settled in Torrance California. Clara lived in the South Bay for nearly fifty years raising five children, being an active member of St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church and managing See's Candy stores in Redondo Beach and later Palos Verdes.

Clara moved south to San Marcos California in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and playing cards.

Clara was a warm and caring person, a devoted wife and a beloved mother. She always put others before herself and found a way to be happy with whatever life brought her way. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Clara is survived by her 5 children, 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass will be held 4 May 2018 at St Thomas More Catholic Church in Oceanside California at 11 AM. The burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City California at 11 AM on 5 May 2018.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.com).
