Gina Blanck Gilbert, 73

Gina Blanck Gilbert, died peacefully, surrounded by family on January 18th, 2018. Born January 1st, 1945, in Rye, New York, her parents, Frank and Jane Levinsohn rang in the New Year with a beautiful baby girl. The middle of 3 girls, Gina grew up in Rye, New York, riding horses with her two sisters Lisa and Jill. Gina attended Rye Country Day School, until the 12th grade, when the family moved West, to Beverly Hills. Gina graduated from Beverly Hills High and went on to attend UCSB.

In 1963, Gina married her high school sweetheart, John Adlam. In December, they welcomed a son, Christopher John. Their second son, David Spencer was born in April of 1965. Gina went on to work in the industrial catering business, where she met her second husband, Charles Blanck. Together, they built a successful catering company. In 1989, Gina obtained her real estate license. Over the course of the next 28 years, she excelled in every facet of the real estate industry. She obtained her Broker's license in 2010, and became Broker of Record for Vista Sotheby's International Realty. In 2015, Gina married Sam Gilbert. They loved each other deeply and their lives were complete.

Gina is survived by her husband, Sam; her son Chris (Valerie), her son David (Leslie); her grandchildren, Taylor (Megan), Elizabeth (Nick), Charlotte, Ava and Max, and her great-grandson, Connor; her sister, Lisa (Dennis) and their sons, Nicholas and Jordan, and her sister Jill (Roger).

Gina was an amazing mother, Nana, sister, friend and wife. She was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. We were all blessed to have her in our lives.
