Jean Boswell Obituary
1/2/1925 - 12/17/2018 Jean was born in Duluth, Minnesota, the only child of Robert and Bertha McCurdy. She showed artistic talent from the time she 3 years old and studied art at Macalester College. After marrying Clay Boswell on 8/4/45, they moved to California. In 1961 they moved to Palos Verdes where she lived for over 50 years. In addition to raising two daughters, she was very active in the local art scene and was a founding member of the Palos Verdes Arts Association. In the 1970s she became an interior designer. In addition to painting and drawing, she enjoyed entertaining and was an avid reader. She passed away from natural causes, peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Burdick and Allison Boswell, her step son, Greg Sioles and her 4 grandchildren. Her gorgeous red hair, sweet smile and sense of humor radiated everywhere she went. She was beautiful inside and out until the day she died. She will be greatly missed.
