Vicenta R. Baca, age 102, passed away at her home in Tucumcari, NM on Tuesday March 25, 2008.
Vicenta Baca was born May 17, 1905, in San Ignacio, in the Territory of NM. She had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church.
Surviving Vicenta Baca are 5 daughters, Ane Baca and Celia Garcia, both of Tucumcari NM; Fabiola Sandoval of Santa Fe, NM, Elena Lou Gross of San Antonio, TX and Millie Armijo and husband Frank of El Paso, TX; two sons, Sam Baca of Tucumcari NM and Gene Baca and wife Berna of Provo, UT; 31 grandchildren along with numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Agapito Baca and by her son Melvin Floyd Baca.
Funeral services will be Friday morning, March 28, 2008, at 10:30 in the Dunn Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in the family plot of the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
