Arthur Raymond Cain age 83, entered God's Kingdom on Tuesday August 4, 2015, in Logan NM.
Arthur was born September 17, 1931 in Alamogordo NM. He was raised in Winston NM until his family bought a ranch and moved to Logan NM when Pop was 11 years old. He was active in ranching until he retired in 2002.
He met his childhood sweetheart when he started school in Logan at which time his sweetie Fern age 9 saw him and told a friend "He's Mine" and 6 years later he was, when they married March 7, 1949.
He leaves behind his childhood sweetheart of 66 years Fern Cain of Logan NM. Together they raised 3 children, Janice Murray & husband Ralph of Weatherford, OK, Benton Cain & Lynda of Logan and Edna Carol Richardson & husband Alan of Kansas City, MO. They were blessed with 12 grandchildren - Mecca Parker & Bret of Elk City Ok, April May of Swampscott, MA., Frank Murray & Tracy Kansas City, KS, Kandi Parnell & Scott of Logan NM, Dusty Braun, Greenwood, IN, Brandy Wheeler & Jon, Kansas City MO, Kelly Richardson of Salisbury, MO, Joe Bob Murray of Weatherford, OK., Todd Murray & Anna of Hereford, Tx., Guy Wayne Murray & Melissa of Hereford, Tx, Amanda Green & Nate of Des Moines, NM and Andrew Jeffers & Breann of Des Moines, NM, 24 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Benton Cain and Harriet Olivia Babers Cain; brothers, Johnnie Cain, and George Douglas Cain.
Services celebrating his life were held Saturday morning August 15, 2015, in the Logan First Baptist Church beginning at 10:30AM. Feel free to wear his favorite color pink in honor of his life.
The family suggests for those who wish, donations may be made to the Autumn Blessings Stepping Stone Memorial Fund in Logan New Mexico. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.
