Bobby Amadeo Torres Obituary
 Bobby Amadeo Torres, age 61, a resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was born on December 28, 1949, in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Benigno Torres and Elisa Maestas-Torres.   
He attended East Las Vegas City Schools and graduated from Logan High School in 1970, earned a Child Development License while working for the head start programs earned an AA in 1979 and earned a BA from New Mexico Highlands University in Elementary Education in 1982.  He was a retired educator of 25 years for the East Las Vegas City Schools in 1996.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, liked fishing, enjoyed New Mexico music and playing pool.
He was a Catholic and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Nevaeh Vigil; parents, Benigno and Elisa Torres; brothers, Manuel and Zeke Torres; sister, Sabie Velasquez.
He is survived by his son, Adolfo Santiago Vigil and fiancee, Monique Amador of Las Vegas, New Mexico; brothers, Alfonso Torres and wife, Carmen and Benjie Torres and Mary Ann Apodaca all of Tucumcari, New Mexico; sister, Maria Jaramillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico;  godmother, Carmen Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, Colorado;  numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.   
Rosary services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 7:00 pm at the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico.  Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 15, 2011, at 9:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.    Interment will be held at the Logan Cemetery in Logan, New Mexico.
